Kasatkina vs Andreescu: prediction for the WTA Bad Homburg match
Reaching the semi-final of Roland Garros surely boosted Daria Kasatkina's confidence. After a transition to the grass Russian player managed to win four matches, she is now looking to break into the Top-10 of WTA rankings.
Daria started the Bad Homburg tournament with a confident victory over Andrea Petkovic (6:1, 6:2). In the second round she had an opportunity to secure another straight-set victory over Niemeier, but Kasatkina struggled through the second set (6:1, 3:6, 6:1). Nonetheless, Russian player managed to win the match.
Bianca Andreescu managed to reach the quarter-final of WTA tournament only for the second time in the current season. She managed to reach the same stage at Rome, but was denied the semi-final spot by Iga Swiatek (6:7, 0:6).
Canadian player faced weaker opponents in first two rounds. In the first match she easily beat Trevisan (6:3, 6:1) and then secured a straight-set victory over Swan (6:4, 6:4). A match against Kasatkina is surely a bigger challenge for the former World No. 4 player.
This bet won in two of four latest matches of Andreescu
In each of six latest matches of Kasatkina no more than nine games were played in the second set
There is no clear favourite in the upcoming match. Overall, Kasatkina is more successful on the grass. Daria is a difficult opponent for anyone right now, she is looking much stronger than Andreescu on the baseline. Russian player is trying to play aggressively and it is a successful strategy for her.

No one has any significant advantage here. In the only head-to-head match opponents played three sets, so we are anticipating another contested match at Bad Hamburg.
