Florida vs Washington: prediction for the NHL game

Florida qualified for the playoffs from the first line in the Eastern Conference table. The Panthers clearly hope to make it past the round of 16, but the team has been unreliable on defense and allowed the opponent too much freedom in their zone.

For example, the Panthers lost with a score of 1:6 in the first game in Washington. In the second away game, Brunette's men snatched a victory in overtime (3:2 OT). Carter Verhaeghe has already scored three goals in the playoffs, and Alexander Barkov has registered one goal.

Washington were inconsistent throughout the season and experienced difficulties even against clear outsiders. Nevertheless, the Capitals are a very experienced team, and due to this experience, they put up a good fight against Florida in the first round of the playoffs. 

Peter Laviolette's men made only 16 shots on the opponent's goal in the last game. They need to improve their attacking performance if they want to get the upper hand in the series. Washington's Tom Wilson is out injured at will not appear in the upcoming game.
